How Hollywood Bowl parking works

How Hollywood Bowl parking works

On-site parking is available in Lots A (Blue) and D (Yellow), but the spaces are limited and may sell out before concert day. All on-site lots use stack parking, so you cannot leave early once parked.

The Hollywood Bowl advises buying on-site parking in advance. If parking inventory remains, cashiers accept cash or credit card. Lot B serves Shuttle and Park & Ride visitors and ADA parking, and may have limited on-site parking; Lot C is designated as a rideshare hub.

The venue is at 2301 Highland Ave, Los Angeles, California 90068. For a broader look at how to get to Hollywood Bowl from Studio City, consider the full trip as well as the parking arrangement.

Parking options and advance planning

Parking options and advance planning

Park & Ride and Bowl Shuttle tickets provide alternatives to parking at the Bowl, but their locations and ticket rules differ. Check the concert’s event page for the options available before choosing a route.

Park & Ride

Park & Ride buses leave at timed departures from selected lots across Los Angeles County. Tickets cost $12.45–$15, and online sales close at 10am the day before a concert.

Day-of tickets cost $15 if available and require cash with exact change. With an advance purchase, arrive at least 10 minutes before the departure on your ticket to receive boarding preference.

Park & Ride buses drop off at the top of Lot B. Return buses board at the transportation hub on Highland Avenue.

Bowl Shuttle

Bowl Shuttle buses run continuously from Ventura Boulevard, the LA Zoo, Burbank Metrolink, and Ovation Hollywood. Service begins 2.5 hours before the concert, and the last outbound shuttle leaves at concert time. Tickets cost $12–$12.45; online sales close one hour before the concert. Day-of tickets at the lot cost $12 by cash or card, if available.

Parking at Bowl Shuttle lots is free except at Ovation Hollywood, where the daily maximum is $20. Shuttles drop off at the top of Lot B, and return buses board there.

Traffic and arrival timing

Traffic and arrival timing

Plan to arrive early: the venue recommends getting to the Bowl at least 90 minutes before a concert and reaching the gates at least 30 minutes before the event starts for security screening.

If you drive, factor the stack-parking rule into your plans: cars in on-site lots cannot exit early. If you take a shuttle, check your departure time and lot before setting out, since the services use specific pickup points rather than one shared boarding location.

Alternatives to driving

Alternatives to driving

Metro, Park & Ride, and the Bowl Shuttle can all help you avoid driving directly to the venue. The Bowl recommends taking the Metro B Line to Hollywood/Highland Station and connecting to the Bowl Shuttle at Ovation Hollywood. A valid Metro TAP card or GoMetro Round-Trip Pass makes that shuttle ride free.

A valid Metrolink ticket can also cover a free Bowl Shuttle ride from the Burbank Metrolink lot, provided the ticket is active and the trip took place within the previous two hours. For more about getting around Studio City by transit, review the local transit connections as part of your planning.

All Park & Ride and Bowl Shuttle lots and buses are wheelchair accessible. Rideshare pickup and drop-off are directed to 6655 Odin Street.

Event-day checks before you leave

Confirm the parking or shuttle choices for your specific concert before you go. Lot locations, departure times, and availability can change, and Park & Ride or Bowl Shuttle service may not be offered for every concert. Return buses begin departing approximately 20 minutes after a concert ends.

Before you go: Ticket prices, sales cutoffs, and service availability are subject to change, so check the official Hollywood Bowl site before you go.
